Ursula Martinez: My Stories, Your Emails

Words: Nicci Talbot

Looking forward to seeing this at the Soho Theatre soon. The lady has lots of fans and has been described as ‘inspirational, a brilliant magician and a very, very sexy lady.’ See the video of her Hanky Panky act below – hilarious, charming and says more about the audience’s reaction than her getting her kit off in public ;-).

Here’s the blurb:

“Ursula (star of La Soiree, La Clique and Office Party) brings us her solo theatre show about the response to her infamous ‘Hanky Panky’ routine after it was illicitly posted online.

“Combining stand up, live art and character comedy, Ursula invites you to meet the ordinary and extraordinary characters in her life and inbox.

“The result is a comical and uncompromising investigation into identity, relationships, confession, obsession, miscommunication, fame, sex, loneliness, the internet…and what happens when your private parts go public!

“Warning: may contain really boring nudity.”

Written and performed by Ursula Martinez.

Directed by Mark Whitelaw.

When and where?

Monday 27th February – Sat 10th March, 9.15pm @ Soho Theatre, 21 Dean Street, London W1D 3NE.
